“The 2000 Girls Green won the Michigan Classic for a second consecutive year on July 26th. The girls defended their title by going undefeated throughout the entire tournament and allowing only one goal.In the finals, the girls faced an all star team from Michigan and produced an exciting 3-1 Victory.”

Middlesex United Invitational Champions -2000 Girls Black
The Lasalle Stompers 2000 Girls Black captured the Title at the Middlesex Invitational on June 7, 2009 in Strathroy Ontario. Their second Trophy in a month.
The girls did it in a grand fashion going undefeated and finishing in first place in the round robin play and then winning the semi-finals against London Lasers B by a score of 7-1 and dominating the finals against the London lasers A team with a final score of 7-0. The team allowed only one goal throughout the tournament.
“The majority of these girls are first year competitive players” states coach Waseem. “The way they played this weekend was a testament to the hard work and dedication by these girls and their parents throughout the past fall and winter. They have developed so much individually and as a team. I thought we would be competitive in this tournament, but I never dreamed we would dominate London teams in this fashion.
Coach Joe and I are very proud of all their hard work and the way they played this weekend. These girls turned a lot of heads up there!”

Canton Silver Cup for the 2000 Girls Black!!!
Congratulations to the Lasalle Stompers 2000 Girls Black roster for capturing the Silver Cup at the Canton Tournament this past weekend.
This team of first year competitive players played with heart, desire and intensity throughout the weekend to capture the Silver.
Coaches Waseem Habash and Joe McMahon are very proud of these players for their outstanding performance. The parents also did a wonderful job in supporting these young ladies and getting them ready for their first tournament ever.
