Catherine Multari is the 2010 recipient of the Mimmo Napoli Scholarship awarded by the Lasalle Stompers Soccer Club. Catherine Multari has been involved with the Lasalle Stompers since 2001 most recently serving as team Captain for the U17 team coached by Tony Sorge. Catherine is a graduate of Holy Names High School where she had a 93 percent average. During her time at Holy Names, she participated in two OFSSAA soccer tournaments. Catherine’s coaches have praised her as being the ultimate team player – willing to go wherever and do whatever is needed for the betterment of the team. She has been described as a strong defender and fierce keeper. Catherine is now attending the University of Western Ontario where she is studying kinesiology with an interest in sports medicine. She is extremely grateful for the opportunities soccer has given her: she has made life-long friendships, has had the opportunity to travel; and has been coached by many talented people who have taught her lessons applicable on and off the field.
