2. Goalies must wear different coloured shirts.
3. Games will be 40 minutes, consisting of 2 halves of 20 minutes, running time. One timeout per half.
4. 5 minute halftime.
5. No practise before games.
6. No intentional passing to the goaltender where the goaltender picks up the ball to play it.
7. Shin pads are mandatory.
SUBSTITUTION RULES
1. On goal kicks.
2. On goals.
3. Your throw ins only - however if one team calls for substitutions on their throw in, then the other team may sub as well.
IF TIED AFTER REGULATION
1. Re-toss coins for ends, and start immediately.
2. Two, 5 minute halves (not sudden death).
IF TIED AFTER OVERTIME
1. Only players on the field at the end of overtime can shoot.
2. Players cannot leave the field but gather at centre and only the Coach can come onto the field to organize the shooting order.
3. 5 shooters are chosen from the players who were on the field at the end of the overtime period and order is given to the referee.
4. First shooter determined by a coin toss.
5. If still tied after 5 kickers, then a round of single shots will be taken to decide the game. Any player is eligible for this round of kicks who has not already kicked (sudden death).
6. If still tied after the 2nd 6 shooters, (All 11 players must shoot before starting over. The only exception is if a player has been sent off (red card). In that case both teams must start with the same number of players. Meaning the other team must select one player to not take shots.), go back to the original 5 shooters, still sudden death.
7. The goalie can be one of the shooters.
8. Anyone can be goalkeeper as long as he was one of the players who was on the field at the end of the overtime.
Tie Breaker Format If there is a tie, the team with the best head to head record will advance. If still tied the fewest goals allowed (defensive record) will advance. If there is still a tie, the team with the best goal differential will advance. If still tied, the team with the most goals scored (before penalty kicks), will advance. If this does not break the tie, a shoot out will be held between the two or three teams. A coin toss will give one team a bye and the other two will kick off with the winner advancing against the team who received the bye. A shoot out will decide this winner.
